Jiangsu Bote New Materials Co., Ltd., a hi-tech enterprise originated from Building Material Research Institute of Architectural Academy of Jiangsu Province, is specialized in R & D and application of concrete technologies and is the leader in the industry of concrete admixture in China. Its production base was entitled as Concrete Admixture Technological Development Base issued by Science & Technology Committee of Jiangsu Province in 1999 and was specially appointed as Production Base of Concrete Admixture and Construction Coating by Ministry of Construction of People's Republic of China in 2002.

By the end of 2006, Bote had 260 employees including 112 engineers and 23 technicians, among whom there are 34 persons with doctor degree or master degree.

With outstanding professionals, Bote's R&D base (20000m²) has undertaken multiple national key research subjects and has won many prizes issued by national or provincial administrations. Since 1990s, some newly-developed products have been verified as National Key New Products every year. In 2002, the project ‘Polyocarboxy Acid Concrete Reinforcing Agent and Environment-friendly Production’ was listed in Sustentation Projects of Innovation Fund for Small Technology-based Firms by the Ministry of Science & Technology of P. R. China.

With the total area of 80 about 54,000 m², the base has been certified to ISO9001:2000, OHS 18001-2001, ISO 1401:2004.The base has four work houses, e.g. Chemical Synthesis Workhouse, Powdery Admixture Re-preparation Workhouse and others. Currently, the base has the annual production capacity of 140,000 t re-prepared powdery admixture, 80,000t naphthaline admixture and 60,000t poly carboxylic acid and sulphamate admixture.

Bote's high quality concrete admixtures that are classified into 3 series and 30 types have been successfully applied in large quantities of national important projects, e.g. The Three Gorges Dam, Jiangsu Datianwan Nuclear Power Station, Qinghai-Tibet Railway, Wuhu Yangtze River Bridge, Jiangsu Runyang Changjiang River Bridge, Nanjing International Exhibition Center, Nanjing Subway etc.
